coolant tank
im looking for a coolant recovery tank and know were one is out of a v8 gas truck was wandering if anyone out there that can look up part numbers can see if they are the same 99 superduty? from what i can tell they look very similar if not the same. looked on direct ford parts they were the same price but that web site don't give any part numbers would love for someone to be able to look theis up today thanks guys.

As far as I know the 99-03 superduties all used the same degas bottle. Just call your local Ford dealer and ask the parts guy. Not sure I would waste money on a used one though!!!! The plastic get's old and brittle and will leak and your looking at one 9 years old?????? A new one is around $60, how much is your time worth, not to mention the loss of coolant when it goes? I would call Bob at Ford Parts and Ford Diesel Parts at Powerstroke Shop and tell him Kevin sent you and see how much a new one is.
