Sputtering problem with lite pedal pressure??
My truck sputters when I'm lightly on the pedal whether I am taking off or up to speed and then trying to hold a constant speed. Cruise control makes no difference.
Letting the truck warm up for 20 minutes makes it a little better and after driving it for ~45 minutes it goes away. If I shut the truck off at a store for more than 10 minutes the problem returns for a short amount of time. Oil, filter, and fuel filter have all been changed with no help. I have a new IPR and have thought about changing it but I'm thinking if it were the IPS sticking it would be causing a problem at all speeds???? I have tried unplugging the ICP and it didn't help. The sputtering was still there although must less because the truck was really sluggish. Anyone seen this and have any ideas? |
