10k mod problems

So I know that some people have had problems with the CPS doing the 10k, and also the idle problems. But has anyone else had any other problems with it. I've had my truck (early 99) for about a week and put the 10k in and a few days later it wouldn't start but it wasn't the CPS, it was the fuel pump. I don't know if the 10k was what caused it. The truck does have 230,000 on it and I don't know when the last pump was put in so it could just be coincidence. I also did the FPR shim but I don't think this would have affected the fuel pump. I'd like to put the 10k back in till I get a chip but don't want to be fixing more crap because of it.

10k didn't cause your fuel pump to go bad. It can cause oil to get into your ICP sensor and cause a lack of power and a CEL which is why I suggest you just wait and get a chip

thanks. I was pretty positive it didn't do it. But it definitely made it feel a bit quicker. So now I REALLY want a chip. Just gotta save up a bit.
