This summer,

Custom compound turbo set up by Elite Diesel 65+lbs of boost
Auto trans swap (BTS or Allison 6 speed auto)
Solid axle Swap
Lockers front and rear
Beans fuel system
Pulse HPOP
Nitrous.....

What do you guys think?
Forget the cam, get a girdle/mainstud kit in there.
Add chromoly push rods to your list.
Skip the DD clutch if you're swapping in an automatic later.

Reason for lockers over true-trac's?
Forget the allison - the 4R100 is a much better tranny when built by BTS.

Why compounds? Unless you plan to go with bigger injectors - there really is no reason.

What comes off the top at the moment

Your d66 will not work on an early 99, the pedistals and up pipe collectors are different.

You can get them from Wipe Out Enterprises, Wide Open, Black Widow or Diesel Innovations. Orrrrrr you can send one of them to smith brothers and have them make them for you for $11 each. That is where half the names above get them made.

Oh yah, loose the SCT and get some real tunes....

So will the stock engine mounts hold up? Or will the pull force of the fan rip the engine out of the front of the truck?

That is from their price sheet. Chromoly, heat treated, thicker wall tubing. That part number is only the material description. The lenght is depending on your application. You will need to send them a pushrod from your truck to match so all the things get matched perfect like the ball diameter, oil hole diameter and over all lenght.
