Anybody install bushwacker cutout flares

Want to know if anybody has installed the Bushwacker cutout fender flares. Did you have any issues with them ? Fender viberation in the front or rear? Any gaps that should not be there or anything else you can warn me about before I have these installed. Any info would help. My body shop is having second thoughts about installing them because they have to cut so much of the fenders out. The instruction are saying 2" in front and rear. Thanks for any help.

i wouldn't do it. You might regret it later if/when you decide to part with your truck. They're on my truck, but it came with them. They're alright if you're going to run a big enough tire(38+). Small lift and these cutouts accommodate a 41" Irok fine. If you don't already have bigger tires to throw on after the flares are put on, it IS going to look awkward. Not to mention if you ever take them off, or don't get the holes drilled right the first time. I took one of mine off for the first time for the Truspeed install and it looks like they tried to drill them blindfolded. 3 or 4 different holes in the fender for each hole in the flare. Makes the fenders look like crap if you ever run without them. I know another guy that has them and he pulled them off for some stupid reason and was running around town, it looked like he drank 7 pots of coffee, got all jittery and shaky, and then cut his fender out.

I am going to install them on my truck. mainly because the rear quarters are rusting around the wheel well. So the cheapest fix would be to put these fender flares on. That way I can just cut out the rust and then put the fender flares on to get a finished look.

I won't be cutting alot of the fender out just enough to remove the rust.
