I'm looking a replacing the front brakes on my 99.5. I'm running an 8" lift & 37" tires and really need the extra stopping power. I don't do much heavy towing. Right now, it's down to between the:
Cryo Powerslots w/ Hawk LTS pads ~$375.00 +ship Reg Powerslots w/ Hawk LTS pads ~$310.00 +ship Cryo ART rotors w/ Performance Friction pads ~400.00 + ship Would it be worth it for me to spring for the Cryo rotors, or would I be fine with the standards? Also, are there any major differences between the Powerslots and the ART's? Any information would be greatly appreciated. |

i had the standards and they warped... it would def be worth doing the cryo ... ahd if your kit didnt come with it upgrade to the stainless braided brake lines.... they will help with the stopping power

Yeah Cryo Rotors from Powerslot is the only way to go, That's what I got on my offroad rig, as well as SS brake lines. Cryos have lasted 2.5 ysr w/o any wear, but trucks hasn't been driven more than 4K in that time.
