motor randomly shuts off

I have a 01 with 220***.Stage one single shots 6 position programmer. the truck runs great 99.9 percent of time. But when I go to this one bar 30mins away. The motor randomly shuts off as I'm coming up to the stop sign in front of the place no lights nothing everything stays on except for the motor. I can put it in park fire right back up the last night it did it four times within a hundred feet and then when I left the bar and took the same path nothing happened. anybody got any ideas besides not going that bar anymore lol.

Do a search there's a post somewhere about a guy who was having the same problem. His truck would die everyday at the same spot in the road, I may be wrong but i think it turned out to be the tuner or idm. I'm sure some else remembers the post I'm talking about?

No. Crank Position Sensor. They are a prone problem. Most people keep a spare in their glovebox at all times along with a socket for it.

shuts off

CPS is CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. A problem little bugger and needs to be replaced every 100,000 kms. Down front end of motor, easy to replace so I am told ??
