injector question..please help!!!

does anyone know what size my injectors are? sorry if this is a newbie question but i have a 1999.5 f250 crew cab, 7.3. my mods are, afe blue filter intake, and an edge juice with attitude. ive been reading recent posts on injectors and doing all the research i can before i buy aftermarket or DIY's.

also, what would be an ideal injector size with my stock turbo? im possibly gonna upgrade my hpop if i do injectors, and later upgrade my turbo as i save more money. any help is appreciated. thanks

If you do Stage 2 or 3 Single Shot DIY's your stock HPOP will be fine unless it has a ton of miles on it or is already giving you problems and if it is fine save the HPOP money for a Turbonetics BB or Garrett BB and a custom tuned DP or TW Chip and you'll be set.

Stock injectors are 140cc split shots.

As far as what size to go with, everyone has opinions. You're HPOP will be fine with stage 1 or 2's. Stage 1 and 2 injectors are GENERALLY 160cc single shots. Difference is the nozzle. These require custom tuning.

You can get modified split shot injectors, but your hpop may have issues keeping up with a hot tune.

You could use stage II single shots or hybrids with stock HPOP

Anything over a stage 1 injector is going to put a hurting on the stock turbo. If you want the best without going to big oil, get some hybrids and a BB turbo.

Yes, I have a DP tuner. Just waiting for my Turbonetic BB turbo to get in then its on like Donkey Kong!!!
