From broken to smokin'

First start up.


Drove it around a bit, blew a fuel line, fixed that. Blew an i/c boot - fixed that, I've got a slight oil leak, but I haven't pin pointed it yet. Will do so later. Put 100 miles... and a few WOT runs on her the first day out and she runs, idles, drives flawlessly. I had a smoking UVC gasket which I d/c the glowplug relay and fixed that for now, but will put a new gasket on it this week and see if I can avoid the smoking issue. If I can - then I will start daily driving the truck again!

Nice work, Sucks to be away from truck for so long. I had my tranny replaced and was away for two weeks. What happened to old 7.3? Did i see a cracked block? I'm becoming afraid to mess with mine. I think i should be safe w/Dp 80 econ, gauges, intake and no more. Looks like you've got a new start. What do you have instore for your 7.3? Thanks for ALL your work here.
