make sure you have a solvent or goo gone to get rid of the glue. I didnt and had to go for a little walk the other day

If you have a drill and a 2" or 3 " wire wheel that is made too use with a drill. The job takes about 15 min. Leaves the tube like brushed aluminum. Didn't need any chemicals at all.

haha yea. Chris, take of the tube, then rip off the foil, WEAR GLOVES! that foil is pretty sharp. I wore some machanics gloves. If you want to use the drill with the wire bit, it scrathes it up alot. This took me quite a while to do. I peeled as musch stuff off with my hands as i could, then soaked it with WD40 and Carb cleaner. I also tried Texsolve and this stuff called chem-dip. I threw almost all the chemicals we had on the shelf on the pipe. Then took a flat razor blade and scraped most of it off. Then i used steel wool on it, the superfine grit 0000 (all i had) and cleaned it up as much as i could.

Ill go take some pictures right now.
