DP Tunes and that ^$&%! Diamond Eye 4" Exhaust

Put both DP tuner (Econo, trailer, 100hp) and 4" Diamond Eye exhaust on early 99 to help with economy.

May I be roasted in hell if ever I get another Diamond Eye exhaust! 8 HOURS to install - nothing fit - turbo flange 1/8" too large diameter, and way too thick: 2 hours grinding it down. Pipes not angled correctly - now am baking my spare tire. Sheeeeesh!!!!!!

However, DP tuner makes truck much more drivable! Love it - well worth the $$.

Have not seen any improvment in MPG tho driving very conservatively. But, except for the memories of the &#&$& exhaust install, love the truck now!

Any more 'improvements' ideas, that don't involve living under the truck to install, that may help MPG??

wow dude... sorry to hear about the install hassle. no one ever wants it to go that way, but sometimes it does. I've been there man! Glad ya made it through though!

I haven't noticed any milage improvement with my Dp chip yet either. But The Ex is alot nicer to drive now!
