Should I buy this truck?

I can buy a 99 F250 crew cab short bed lariat with just over 200k miles auto trans that has been built up recently (TC, valve body) ball joints recently done, very well taken care of. Has AFE intake full 4" turbo back exhaust, leveling kit with 35's and wheels. I can get it for $8000. From what i have been seeing this is a pretty good deal (and I look at trucks all day everyday) What do you guys think? What would you expect a truck like this to go for?

sound like too good of a price to me that truck books at more like 15000 so i would check out real good whats wrong with it i can almost bet money there is something wrong that you just cant see CHECK IT OUT GOOD

i paid 8 for mine but i jewed the guy down 2 grand it can with a plow but i didnt need it at the time....wish i had 1 now haha mine a reg cab long box with 160k on it

No pics yet. I've checked it out pretty damn good. The guy I am buying it from is a friend of a friend, and I don't think he's tryin to screw me. But who knows. If I can get some pics i will post em up. But there is a good chance it will be mine tomorrow or monday, and thats when the fun starts. I've been planning out the mods for it for a while now (it will be my first diesel).

I finally picked the truck up and love it. I've got pics in my gallery, still trying to get them in the post. I did the 10k and pulled the red tube off the waste gate, and it runs pretty dang good. Now I gotta save up and get a chip.
