How high are your egts in a 1/4mi run

How hot do your egts get during a 1/4 mile pass? Also do you back off any or just hold it floored?
I wanna see if my truck runs hot or if its just normal for a diesel. I'm hitting uper 1300*.

From what I've read 1100-1250 EGT's are ok for short periods, 1300 for a 1/4 mile burst I'd so your ok because your not keeping it there for a long time. But I don't drag race my truck, but I did drag race a mustang years ago and that was alot of fun. Maybe someone that does race will chirp in.
