Question unidentified 2 pin harness

hi while looking under the truck , i noticed a 2 pin harness with a "x-mas" tree barbed clip still attached loose under the truck. it hasn't been connected to anything in sometime according to the corrosion of the female pin slots. It is hanging on the d/s front fender, actually in the space underneath, between the fender liner and the floor board of the cab. i noticed it when i was under looking at the oil pan and such. The harness seems to have come down from under the hood, in the area where the fuses and relays are. It is NOT the air box temp sensor harness. I have no codes to help me and everything seems to work. What could it be?

What size wires? My block heater wires dangle/tuck behind the front bumper area. Has had the actual plug cut off by previous owner.

Whether the truck came with it or not, doesn't necessarily affect the wire loom. You'll find most things have the wires laid out, just not connected to the end user options. Like the over head console, electric seats, ambulance package...

In any event, pictures are worth all the words you could type.

It would if the truck had front abs and the respective harnesses were or were not plugged in. Its just a two pin connector with a barbed christmas tree a few inches up on the loom. its been unplugged sometime based on the corrosion inside the connector.
