chip for my early 99

I am looking to get a chip for my truck and was just wondering how hard they are to install or what all must be done. Thanks

AFE stage 1 intake
straight pipe
6 inch lift with 37/13.50r20 toyo mts
alpine iva-w200 screen with jl xr in the doors and 2 12" jl w1 behind seat

That is my next question. Do i need to have my computer re-flashed or upgrade to a late 99?
