I wanted to stay away from chips/programmers/tuners 'cause I don't want to beat the crap out of the tranny..

My DP has awesome trans tuning and my Woods Valve Body work well together. But yea, these trannies stock are weak at best, I try not to beat on mine too hard. The temptation of a DP was too much though, had to have it. Now i wonder why i waited so long to get it.

Hm, i'm not worried about it. I might get money for some kinda mileage booster since I'm gonna be doing alot of city driving. I'd rather do other stuff to it, like a steering stabilizer, zoodad plate, a new tailgate cap, but most of all, a security system and to compliment that some train horns OR big rig horns. I'm moving to Indianapolis so I think that'll be first, the security. I'm gonna wire up a couple killswitches before I get down there I think.

Just FYI, mine has 250/525 on the valve cover.

Not sure what the power train loss is on these, but on 2wd cars we always figured 15% loss on a manual and 20% loss on autos. Using those numbers, stock mine should have right around 200 rwhp and 420 rwtq.
