converting a 5.4L gasser to a 7.3L powerstroke

Guys I just bought a used 99 F250 that is a nice truck, and got it real cheap. Was curious if anyone has ever converted a gasser super duty to a diesel. I believe my 5.4L has the E40OD like the 7.3L. Any insight would be appreciated.

It would probably be cheaper to trade the gasser on a diesel. These motors are expensive plus you gotta change the fuel system, computer, etc. Unless you can find a wrecked superduty with all the stuff you need to swap, then it will probably cost you more to convert it than the truck is worth.
