LOL! I used a big chain wrench, and a HUGE cresent to get mine off, and while I was at it I replaced the water pump. It wasn't bad but I didn't want to deal with doing it again!

Just redid mine two weeks ago and the fan hub tools are a godsend(got from o'reilly but did not have a big enough wrench so thnks to a big crescent) had 56,000 k when went bad.relatively simple all in all.Tools listed in prev post sum it up.
