99 SD dually

Hey guys, ive got a line on a very nice truck. Its a black 99 SD F350 Supercab Lariat. 2 wheel drive, dually, low miles. I just sold my 06 F150 SC and I just wanna know how are these trucks in general, is there anything special to look out for on inspection and what do you guys think is fair for a 120000ml truck in excellent condition. I have a 6200lb toybox that is almost 9000lb loaded and I figure this thing should pull it no problem- probably in OD. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx, Jeff.

What to look for when buying a USED 99-03 PSD

I never thought to look there, I feel like an ***. I printed it out to take with me. Any other thoughts on value?

Well I know my dad's truck (the one in my sig lol) KBB's at $10,400 on the higher end. But the body isn't in the BEST condition (some rust, dents, scratches, and a little body damage on the bed). And it's higher miles. I have no real idea but I'd expect that truck to go for maybe 12k or 11k, something like that. Sounds like a nice rig though. You have to get the vibe from the guy that he (or she) knows the truck well and has taken care of it. If they don't know how often they change stuff like the oil, air filter, etc then i wouldn't trust 'em.

Your Dads truck sounds just like this truck. 2WD, auto. Its black with tan leather with the nice aluminum wheels.

Well its cloth interior, but the interior is immaculate! And the aluminum wheels are pretty corroded, but it's a michigan truck. Hopefully the truck you're lookin at was taken care of like my dad's!
