Tony Wildman tune vs. Banks

Anyone out there care to give me there feeling or experience with the difference between having a banks Big Hoss and Six Gun installed versus a Tony Wildman tune? Is there a huge difference in power? What about economy? Let me know exactly how much better one or the other is!

Wildman is going to be better than any "off the shelf" tuner out there... Period

The banks chip is not even close to the same as the tunes Tony has. The banks set up you are talking about is a stacked setup. I saw a guy with this setup at the last dyno day and he dynoed 290hp. A equally setup truck with tonys tunes would typically put down over 325hp. tonys tunes also have some good trans tuning in it. There is a reason that banks sells the trans command, their chip does not have any trans tuning in it worth a darn.

Keep Strokin'

Looking for a Tony Wildman chip

Thanks for the info. I started with the Banks Big Hoss only because I found it for a steal, but now that I'm learning more from this site I had a reason to believe Banks isn't as big of a deal as some people make it out to be. I just wanted to be sure before I purchased a Tony Wildman, and sold the Banks stuff.

Good comparison.

There are banks representatives on this site and others, but the only time you will them on here is when the Type-D or some other truck has done something and they deem it worthy of bragging about for a couple of weeks, using it's feats as justification of their products which everyone already knows are mediocre at best.

Basically you spend gobs of money for some cute stickers to put on your truck, which will attract other diesels that are eager to put a hard spanking on your banks powered rig.
