If that was the case I'd be selling everything I owned and buying stock in International and Ford.

The best i can seem to get is 17MPG.The truck is a dually with the 4.10 axle so i'm turning 2 grand at 60mph.It is stock except for a Ford AIS and muffler delete.Maybe a Tony Wildman chip and bigger exhaust would help.I don't want to regear, cause it's a real stump puller right now.Perhaps some 19.5 inch rims in the future.

Is this mileage hand calculated? If you use your miles on your tripometer for fuel mileage it is going to be off, because you are running a smaller tire. You would probably pick up 1.5-2mpg just because your speedometer is off

After reading some of the fuel mileage claims I dont feel to bad about the mileage I got out of my 05 6.0L now. I would consistantly get 15 mix driving and got 19 a few times on the highway at 70mph cruise.

That may be a little high, but i took a 300 mile trip with my buddy, he has an 01 7.3. We filled up before we left and again at the same store when we got back. 99% of the driving was highway, driving about 67mph, with stock tires. The Computer said 24mpg, hand calculated it was 26mpg
