00 F250 dying out

Truck died while idling in driveway. Started it back up and drove it 3 blocks and it died again and wouldn't start. Had it towed to the shop and tried it again. It started up. Left it at the mechanic till Monday. Any thoughts on what could be causing this? The truck has 260000 miles in it.

BTW- make sure they call you before they do any work, because if it is the CPS, then you'll want to do it yourself. 10 min. job, $15 part. Don't let them rape you.

Good Luck

same thing happened to my 2000 PSD and it was cam sensor. There is a recall on them so check with the dealership and they will prob replace for free.
