2002 SCLB

Hello everyone,

My name is Justin and this is my first post here. I have never owned a diesel truck before, but finally took the plunge on a 2002 F350 SCLB 4x4 SRW with ZF6. Truck has 125,000 miles on it so it should still have plenty of life in it I am totally stoked right now. I originally wanted a CC dodge with the Cummins and nv5600 but could not pass this deal up. I am happy that I went with the and gave up a little cabin space with the SC but picked up the longer bed. My girls are young so they should still have plenty of room in the back. Picking up truck tomorrow so I will be able to enjoy it in time for Fathers Day. Sounds like this is a great place to have questions answered about my truck should any arise. Here are a couple picks.

Thanks! It is a real treat to be in a position to get this truck. I have been driving the same 95 Integra for the past 14 years. I have wanted/needed a truck for a long time but always let my wife buy new cars. This time she let me get the truck because we have small cars that won't accommodate more than one car seat and a booster seat. The truck kills two birds with one stone allowing us to do this and at the same time I can tow an equipment trailer, dump trailer or whatever. As soon as my wife looked at it this way she was all for it. The other thing is that we are purchasing the truck from her uncle who has sold us other vehicles from in the past. We have always been happy with everything that we have bought from him. He replaced all the ball joints, all new rotors and pads, new CPS, changed all fluids and filters and a few other minor things that if not taken care of could have turn into problems. It is a real blessing to know him with regards to purchasing new/used vehicles. BTW, that is a nice SC/LB you have there too. Take care.

Justin
