programmer's and milage ???
reading on the superchips website and people are saying they are getting 22-24 mpg with there programmer! is there any truth to this? what can i do short of buying a 4 cyl to get better gas milage? my truck is a stock 99 with 116,xxx mile's and I'm getting 16 mpg average

o yea and dont believe the MPG meter. when i put in my evo2 i went from just about dead on (15 to 17) to now reading about 8 to 10 high. i usually read about 24 now on the MPG-o-meter and i caculate it when i fill up and get about 14 to 16 now.

Yeah mostly its overinflated boasts with mileage. I average 17, so you might be able to squeak another mile per gallon or two with some mods and a light foot.

i had a superchip's in my truck for about 2 hour's i know what you mean by fun. but with price's going threw the roof i need to do something worth while.

Alot of people say they get better mileage. I was one that didn't. When I brought my truck home with no mods stock with stock tires I was getting 19 on the hiway. I ave 17 now and never hit 19 again
Maybe with a better tuner or chip I might see and increase I don't know till I try I guess |
