dont believe it. most people (like me) add a programmer and see a fall in MPG because its so dang fun to take a 8000 pound truck and go fast. yea we all know its no drag racer (most of them, i know there are drag diesels out there!) but its still fun to plant your self in the seat! with my evo2 on level 3 (with a close eye on EGTs) i have lost maybe 1 or 2 MPG but i sure have more fun and i drive it much harder!

so over all, dont expect to go from 16 to 20+ probably wont happen....

o yea and dont believe the MPG meter. when i put in my evo2 i went from just about dead on (15 to 17) to now reading about 8 to 10 high. i usually read about 24 now on the MPG-o-meter and i caculate it when i fill up and get about 14 to 16 now.

Yeah mostly its overinflated boasts with mileage. I average 17, so you might be able to squeak another mile per gallon or two with some mods and a light foot.

Alot of people say they get better mileage. I was one that didn't. When I brought my truck home with no mods stock with stock tires I was getting 19 on the hiway. I ave 17 now and never hit 19 again Maybe with a better tuner or chip I might see and increase I don't know till I try I guess
