Methanol injection

What do you guys think of meth injection ...how safe is it? And do you think a truck with straight piped exhaust and 6pos chip would make decent gains?

Ive done a bit of shopping around for it. The snow system seems to be the cadillac of systems but the Devils Own set seems to be a nice set up at a reasonable preice.

Heard nothing but good things about water/meth injection. Go for it. It is something I plan to do down the road.

Lowers EGT, improves power and MPG...I'm sold!

Good luck!

A truck straight piped and tunes isn't gonna really use much of the system. I was going to buy one, but you have to set it to come on at say 20% methanol spray at 10psi boost, then 100% at 25+ psi boost, how often do you floor it around town? I could be wrong but from what i have read its not really beneficial till you start modding the truck heavy.

Are you towing? If so then u could get a meth controller that monitors egts while onthe hwy, otherwise i think you would probably benefit elsewhere

I like my coolmist setup! I have a simlple system on my 1996 dodge, boost switch on and off and the 3 mpg setup on my 1999 f350 with a progressive controller . I think coolmist is good quality at a reasonable price. I got a really good deal from them because I bought both systems at the sme time. I didn't get to use the system on my f350 yet I didn't get my engine back in yet
