I need some backup camera help!

I put together a backup camera for my superduty. I used a little board cam that I had and a small project box from radio shack and put it smack in the middle of my tag (drilled a small hole through the tag and mounted from the back. Well, when I plug in the video cable to my double din dvd/radio and power it up the picture is reversed, everything on the right side of the truck shows up as the left side on the radio/monitor and vice-versa. If I reverse the video wires there's no picture. Is there any way to get the picture to show correctly? Thanks Kelly

Can you remove the camera from its mount? I f you can just flip it 180 and remount it.

Wouldn't flipping the camera 180 just make it view upside down? you would have to be able to spin the camera on its axis if that would work?... Sounds to me like the input is being mirrored from the head unit if it has that option or possibly the wiring from the camera itself is incorrect.

My receiver unit has a setting to reverse the image. I would look through your menus.
