Headstuds, valve springs and pushrods

alright so I havent posted on here in a while, ive been doing a lot of reading and research and want to pursue 400-425 Horsepower (started off wanting 500 lol) and i Know how im getting there.

my concern is do i NEED headstuds, valve springs and pushrods? i have read a lot and some people do them at that HP level and some dont, so i would like to have your opinions on the subject.

thanks,
Mitch

Its not really the hp that will brake those things but more the cylinder pressure and rpm. At that level i wouldnt change any personally. Ive been told stock springs are good to 3800rpm, and i would leave the stock push tubes as the weak link unless you want to upgrade the entire valve train.

right, and proper tuning can help keep the cylinder pressures down, from what i understand atleast.
