it was made together with ford just for the 6.0
but Ford never used it or relabeled it for their use since the 6.4 was coming( from what I remember the MFG telling us)

but with a money back guarantee I think if you have stiction it may be worth it

if not just running synthetic is all you need IMHO

I originally bought it for some injector stiction but days before it showed up I had another injector act up and they were changed under warranty so I did use the Hotshots but
just as a preventative measure

Just to be sure (im still new to the diesel community) a lot of times people misdiagnose a faulty injector because of stiction correct? and when an injector does go out is there a way to rebuild it so you don't have to spend $$$ on a new one

there are people who say you can DIY an injector at home

I have not and not sure I would try vs picking up a ford re manufactured unit

technically stiction is a bad injector and Ford changed many out because of it

but it is something that plenty of folks have had luck getting rid of using one of the three common additives

Hot shots is for the 6.0 not the 7.3 so if you have A rough idle hotshots Isn't gonna fix it.

Why not? Aren't the two injection systems theoretically the same? Oil actuated injectors?
