I need brakes and gear help!

Okay everyone,

I need some help on this. I need new rotors and brakes but as I searched the forum a lot of people say they will only run the cyro power rotors and hawk pads.

I called up Napa Auto parts and they said they have ceramic pads for $74.99 which (according to the napa guy) are the best. But on here I have read that ceramic pads should NOT be used. What do you think?

I do not do a lot of towing. The occasional boat or toy hauler but nothing major at all.

Also Napa has rotors for either $85 or $119 depending on the gears of my truck but I don't know what the gears are.

What's your take?

Thanks,

Mark

I can't help you with the brakes, but your gearing should be on your door jam sticker. I would put money down that you have 3.73 gears.

I have ceramic pads on my EX, no problems at all. I like them a lot, very little brake dust, stopping is good. They were $55.00 or os from Autozone.

I put ceramic pads on my 350, $155 F+R, If I knew they were going to be this good, I would have left the dealership and stopped at the parts store and bought them then!!!!
