IPR general question
From what I remember, the IPR has 3 parts. There is the the shaft the mounts to the HPOP, The "solenoid" piece, and a bushing/nut the hold it on. How does the solenoid actually work?

From what I understand, inside it is a magnetic plunger. The outside ring that is held on with that sheet metal nut is the electric magnet. Last I asked this question it was back in 02-03 to Bob Riley. Maybe he will find this post and chime in. He will know.

Thanks. I was about to resort to asking him anyways. The question was asked to me... and I didn't have a good answer.
