what does the fx4 package consist of?

well i finally going to buy a newer truck. its a 03 f-250 crew short 4x4 black with a 7.3 and 200k on it. dealer said it was a fx4 lariet. what does the fx4 package consist of and does the lariet stand for leather loaded up interior. they want $16500 for it, is that a good deal?

The FX4 package consists of Rancho shocks and a couple skid plates. LOL, yeah, I'm pretty sure the Lariats come with the leather interiors. They're a step up from my XLT, although I got my with leather.

I son't know if that's a good deal or not. Someone else will chime in though, I'm sure.

As for the "deal", sounds pretty good to me, except the high mileage (I'd try to find lower miles). Although if it was maintained good for the first 200,000 you could get plenty more out of a 7.3.

And yes, XLT Lariat should be leather / loaded int. (power everything)

personally i dont think that is a "good deal". What kind of shape is it in? I bought my 03 CC long Bed. lariat. Fx4. 4x4 with 120k miles for 18k. Not sure if that helps any tho. but prices are different everywhere you go so.....

a 7.3 with 200K for 165000. do nottt buy the truckkk for that much. dont do it dont do it.
Its a buyers market for diesels. And that is a ripoff

i paid 13000 even for my 02 with cloth seats and power evrything and 200,000 miles and that is with 35" bfg's on egel alloys with leveling kit.

also if it matters i paid 16,500 for my green 02 lariat leather loaded out with 10" lift and 39.5" trxus's with 165,000
