02 f350 7.3 starter problems

ok we have a 02 f350 with 7.3 l diesel and we can't keep starter's on it. we have replaced about 8 starter's and 2 flywheel's in the past 2and 1/2 years. is there a starter out there that will hold up better most of these have been napa remanufactured.

I have heard good things about DB starter but I would tend to think you have something else going on. What symptoms are you having when the starter goes out?

well most of the time the starter drags to the point where the battires won't crank it. i took the starter out and the plastic on the bendix is melted and bench tested it and it won't turn so it's toast. i'm gonna fix the truck this time and see what happens. i just want to put the best quality i can find on it. oh and i tested the battires there good.
