find smaller blocks for the leafs in the back, if its a 350 put 250 springs in it, they are an inch lower

i've done it with 3 powerstrokes so far, just get the 2" blocks from the dealer or napa should have them, the whole job takes less than 30 minutes

thatd definitely be the easiest way to go, however if you like the level look you could also level out the front with an add a leaf kit

What kind of truck? It's looks like you have a 450 or 550 from looking at your avator.

How hard is it to take a leaf out of the front pack? My f250 has 3 and everyone else that I notice with stock suspension has 2.

Sounds like you have an add a leaf in your front spring packs, to raise the front end of the truck to sit level with the rear....chances are the previous owner did this ( if you arent the original owner) if you were looking to lower the front itd be a lot easier to just add a 1 inch block to the rear.

I don't mean to derail this thread, but I was looking to lower the entire truck. I just wandered if I could pull a leaf out front and back and how hard it would be.

dunno about the whole pullin a leaf out thing, that could be one of the things they changed in 99, mine only has 2 in the front
