PCS?

What does PCS stand for? I've seen it in a few threads and talk about them breaking but no one says what they are thanks Tom

Don't know myself You sure its not pcm or powertrain control module. That is the computer for the powerstroke.

Found it, CPS= Camshaft position sensor, these go out pretty commonly?

everyone says they have problems out of them, I havent yet, knock on wood, but I think there is a recall on them

The cps is an issue yes. I bought a spare just in case. There is a recall from ford right now they will replace the cps with a new improved version. Here is a good writeup to read. 7.3 Cam sensor replacement procedure
