Front End Conversion

I am putting a 05 front end on my F-250. I used the 2002 headder panel & cut the holes for the headlights. Now I mounted the grill shell. The top four screw holes line up but the bottom of the headder panel is completely different. My 02 grill has 4 clips & the 05 grill has 5. The bottom clips are in completely different locations. I am ucing the utility truck grill shell if that makes any difference. What have others done to mount the grill shell. Pics would be awsome. Thanks, Kris

As soon as I can find the 08 power folding mirrors for under $500 thay will be on my truck. 05-07 will also fit.

Here is a better pic of the grill. It is made by Precision Grilles part # 704265. This grill is unique b/c it is a framed perimeter. They take a solid piece of 6061 aluminum & cut the slots in it causing it to have a frame surrounding it. Retail for this grill is $347.32 but I only paid $175 b/c we had it in stock for over a year. My front will look just like this but white. I bought the Grill shell direct from ford for $129.32. The Headlights are OEM ford $167.55 each. The bumper is an 07 take off & I paid $253 for it shipped to my door off Ebay. The bumper & 08 tailgate w/ step is being painted as we speak. $325 to paint the Grill shell, complete bumper & tailgate. I also have a High/Low beam HID kit for the headlights & a standard HID for the Fogs.

So the 08 tail gate and rear bumper wiil go on a 7.3? Do you have any pics of what that looks like? thanks Tom

I do not have an 08 rear bumper but I know it will fit. The tailgate is a direct bolt on but you will need a drivers side bracket if you want to use the torsion assist closing. That bracket is $6.00. I am in Mesa AZ & have an 08 tailgate w/o a step I will sell you for $400 obo. I gave up hope on finding a tailgate with a step & settled for one w/o. Two days later I found one with a step. Gotta love Ebay. I will post a pic tonight.
