Bumper Question

I bought a complete 07 bumper take off w/ all brackets. I thought this would be a direct bolt on an 02 but the body shop that is doing the painting says I will have to fab special bumper brackets. Is this true or will it bolt directly up.
Thanks, Kris

The 05 bumper I have looks like it is direct bolt on. Same measurements on the mounting as my 99. There are 2 bolts on each side with a plate with 2 screw mounts for the back side. Real simple.

i am pretty sure it is a direct bolt on, as many companies offer the same bumper for years 99-07. Go down to the shop and have them show you it will not fit.

No brackets for me either. Thats a simple swap. I agree with sirnunya, have them show you, get some pics if you need to, post 'em here, we'll get them straight

Which side brackets did you not use? Thanks to everyone for the replies. This site has the best members.
