Ext. Cab to Crew Cab

I want to know if it is possible to trade out a ext cab for a crew cab. Currently I have ext cab long bed and I'm wondering if I could put a crew cab on this chassis If it is possible could I keep the long bed or do I have to get rid of it?

I have taken the measurements to do a regular cab longbed to supercab short bed on an OBS. The wheelbase was too far off to work. Ford made some changes with the SD to allow more cab and bed configurations, so I would try to find the wheel base of a SC/LB and compare it to a CC/SB. Post your wheelbase and maybe someone with a CC/SC can give you something to compare it with.

Supercab longbed is 162" so it would not be a direct bolt up. You may be able to shorten the bed to make it fit, but that would be some work.

You could do it, but would have to section the frame to get more length. Sounds like a lot of work and money.
