P1228-waste gate not opening.....

So i got bored and tossed it on stage 3 on my new evolution tuner and when i hit around 19-20psi with my foot to the floor and at about 140kms/hr i got the dreaded check engine light, so i quickly scanned it while driving and it came back with p1228-waste gate not opening, now i havent unhooked it "yet" or fooled with the turbo cause ive only had the truck for about 1.5months, now i take it this isnt a bad thing, any insite on it or anyone else had the same problem? once i took it off stage 3 and went back to 2 i cant for the life of me get it to come back on. so until i find out why ill leave it on stage 2 maybe you guys can help??

you not gonna hurt the turbo unless your making over 25-27lbs of boost. You can keep it unhooked if ya want and build boost way faster, just keep an eye on your guages
