6.0 Intercooler

I have a minor problem when swapping 7.3 w/ 6.0 I/C the trans cooler line is in the way won't allow to sit all the way down. There are 2 lines 1 I can move the other is attached w/ a fitting on top (passenger side) all I need to do is back that fitting off about 1/4 turn but the fitting doesn't look like it has threads, and I don't want to break it. Any input would be helpful otherwise I'm going to move the trans cooler over. (a lot more work)

"Note on some models trans cooler lines need to be re-routed".
I found this on the spearco I/C install. Should be added to GCOP'S install swap of 6.0 I/C to 7.3 in the TECH SECTION if He doesn't mind. bending won't work on mine.

I dropped mine with a drop bracket... Very easy to make if you have a welder...

if you were adding a 6.0 IC and changing the tranny cooler to say a trucool or v10 style cooler would you still have the problem?

just wondering for future mod installs.

did more digging if you added a 6.0 ic on an early 99, where the tranny lines do not go into the radiator , do you think you would have to drop it.

meaning are you moving the IC because of lines in the way or is it just too tall.?

When I installed my 6.0 intercooler it slid right in, I didn't have to move any hoses?
