I am going to switch to synthetic oil tomorrow and would like to drain the hpop and fill it with the new oil. My question is, where is the plug to drain the resivour and where do i fill it up? Any help will be appreciated...Rod

There isn't a drain. There is a pipe plug on the top of the Reservior to check the level. You could get yourself a turkey baster and suck it out, but its not worth the effort. Just due your normal oil change and fill with the synthetic. If you do suck it out then fill it from the same hole so you can start the truck, but it should fill from the low pressure engine oil pump

There will be more in the oil lines etc that you can't get out.

The hole is so small a turkey baster might be too large...

Just change the oil and forget about it.
