I just replaced the injectors in my 2000 F250 with the 7.3L, and when I went to start it, there is a large puddle of oil under the starter. Guessing that I ran the starter for about 30 seconds before I stopped since I could hear the leaking oil. I did, prior to installing the new glow plugs, turn the engine over by hand several times until all I heard was air and no fluid sounds, after that, I left the valve covers on and used the starter to turn the engine over to ensure that there would not be hydraulic lock. I sure hope I didn't mess anything up.
