Glad you like your CCV mod Steve, Enjoy your clean intake.

I think there was a miscomunnication?

You can talk about your mod all you want. you can explain its fit, function etc.. to anyone that asks. They only thing that you cannot do is advertise it for sale on the open forum since you are not a site vendor.

if someone has questions or wants to send you praise it is more than welcome.

I agree John.

I for one would love to see the parts list, some pictures, and some descriptions of this mod. I've not yet done a CCV mod, and would love to get some ideas.

Discussion and description are perfectly fine, and actually we encourage it. However, as John says, it would not be fair to our vendors to allow a non-vendor to advertise products for sale.

NCHornet... perhaps you could strike up a deal with one of our vendors who could market your kit for you??

Regardless of whether anyone else offers a similar product, all vendors pay a fee for the priviledge of advertising here. We do allow members to advertise single personal items, or to advertise multiples or a personal item (when sold at cost), but it would not be fair to allow any member to advertise multiples of a commercial item for profit without being a vendor.

It's a very fine line between giving details about my CCV mod and advertising, and depending on the moderator they can view it either way. Scott and I have discussed this in depth and we both agreed that any info I give on my CCV mod should only be done by PM and I respect that and I am trying to adhere to that. If you will PM me I would be very happy to answer any ? If and sponsors were interested I would love to talk to them. Just so y'all know I am in the begining stages of applying for a patent. Many of you have been encouraging this. The patent Lawyer doesn't want me to sell another one of these, let alone post any photos, until this process is completed which can take a very long time ( years) Unfortunately, I use the funds from selling this mod to supplement my meager disability payment, and raise my two kids, not to mention put fuel in my truck, so ceasing is simply not an option. I am not looking for pitty from anyone just trying to explain my position and hope that y'all would understand. As I have already said I will provide answers to all your questions by PM or by email at :
walknmiracle@triad.rr.com I value this forum way to much to jeopradize it for a few bucks.
Thanks Y'all
Kevin/NCHornet
