New recruit

Hi all, I just joined the PSD ranks today with the purchase of the following:

It's a 99 F250 PSD 4x4, auto trans and 162K on the clock though you'd never know it looking at the truck- this thing is in as good of condition as a truck could be with this amount of miles on it. Except for someone mounting cell phone stuff to the dash, the interior is near new and the outside only has a few minor scratches. Heck, even the inside of the bed looks good!
Just wondering if some of the experts here wouldn't mind pointing me to some good links to commons mods to do to these trucks (yes I know what search is for, but search often gives you a bunch of frivolous stuff that's of no help). I've read a lot on OBS mods thinking I'd end up in one of those but not sure which mods apply to the Super Duty style trucks as well. BTW, I bought the truck at a stealership for $12K out the door!
A question for you all too- what size fuel tank do you have? Reason I ask- when I went to test-drive low fuel light was on, so salesman put 5 gallons in it (which barely moved the needle- on the right incline the light would come on still). I drove 10-15 miles at best on the test, 30 or so miles to the next town to fuel up with my commercial card, counting on 30-35 gallons max. I shut the hose off at 45 (not a typo!) gallons because I couldn't take it anymore (and I didn't have enough Vaseline on hand ). No, diesel was not pouring onto the ground either. The tank on this truck goes from the rear of the front doors to the front of the back wheels- I figure it must be a HUGE aftermarket tank, 55-60 gallon capacity. I drove 130 miles before the needle even flickered.
Not new to Fords, but new to PSD's and so far loving every minute of it!

I'll get a pic of the tank tomorrow- it's definitely not a 40 gallon tank! My bank account has been crying all day... does anyone have any extra work I can do?

I have a 45 or 48 in my 05 EX and I put $100 in it today and it didn't even make 3/4 mark... I know how you feel.
