Please help, Filter on power steering after flush.

Hey guys I just did the power steering flush with M1. This is where my question starts. I got a inline filter as the direction advise. I installed the inline filter in the same location as the directions said to do. The directions say "at the inlet to the power steering cooler." So the way I understand this is that the direction of the filter is facing into the bottom nipple of the power steering cooler. The ATF comes down from the gear box in line (#7) through the PS cooler and back to the power steering pump in line (#8). If I understand this wrong please let me know so I can change direction of my filter.

Please help me to make sure I installed the filter facing the correct direction. Thanks guys.

Chad

It looks like that is the inlet to the power steering cooler (looking at schematic shown on the website you posted). If that is truly the case, then the arrow on the filter should be pointing towards the cooler.

Sounds like you did it correctly.
