Gonna click 375K on my '01 this weekend!

I'm heading out to Washington to pick up a sled deck my father purchased a couple months ago (had a friend pick it up and is storing it) and also to look at an Acura NSX on Sunday.

I'm leaving Billings tomorrow in my White Steed and driving about 900 Miles each way. I'm excited, because she'll hit 375,000 Miles by the time I get home! Just changed the oil in it today (didn't burn a drop in 6K on the last change) and gave her a bath.

So if you're between Billings, MT and Western WA and see a White CCLB 7.3 with Montana "Mule Deer Foundation" plates, 99.9% chance its me, throw a wave!

And if for some unfortunate reason I'm on the side of the road stop and help!

I can't wait until she hits 400,000!

/end high mileage excitement

Well I made it there and back with minimal hangups.

Nothing mechanical.

I picked up the sled deck for my dad and headed back eastward yesterday morning. Made it 25 miles before someone pulled out in front of me while I was doing 60mph on the highway. It was at an intersection with a stoplight, but my light was green - I dont think the idiot even had a clue. I pegged the brakes and missed the back end of the car by inches (it was at a 45 in front of me by the time I passed it, thats how close of a call it was). Well, I lost the glass in the rear window when the deck slid forward (didnt have it mounted, just strapped in, since its not going in my truck permanently). Just the side behind the driver shattered - so this morning I had a non sliding window put in it.

Other than that, the trip went without any hitches. Spent all weekend cruising around on the lake in the Mastercraft or on the dock at my buddy's house with a cold drink in hand!
