2000, 7.3 Powerstroke wont start.

My 7.3 wont start, started running rough then died, changed the fuel filter and camshaft position switch ( recall letter ) and it will crank and sound like it is trying to start but wont, plugged in the block heater to help warm it up, but no luck. Any sudjestions?

depending on temperature your fuel may have gelled. Any codes?

Thanks, No Codes that I can see. It only got to 38 deg. F not cold enough to jell. the fuel I drained to check was fine.

not sure but sounds like a fuel pressure problem, if it sounds like it wants to crank , its probably fuel pressure

Mine did the exact same thing, I tried everything.. It turned out to be the glow plug relay. It is super easy to replace and once I did she fired up like a champ~!

his first post he said it shut off going down the road , glow plug relay will not shut the engine off driving
