exhaust question

hey guys. New user here. I have an exhaust question for my 2001 Ford F250 7.3 Diesel truck. I cut my exhaust at the rear of the crew cab and put a turndown on it. I am considering cutting the tip up further under the cab, maybe right around the front seat and aiming the turndown tip at a 45 degree angle to get the exhaust out under the cab. Would this make the exhaust louder and deeper? Has anyone done this before and is it dangerous? Thanks for all the help guys.

I imagine it's already pretty loud. My concern would be soot making a huge mess and fumes possibly entering the cab. Probably wouldn't hurt your engine though.
