ATS Housing and surge ?'s

Ok. I have used the search button. Cannot find exactly what I am looking for. I was just wondering if there is a complete write up, video or picture layout of the ATS housing installation. Ever since I put in the AFE intake and AFE exhaust I can hear turbo surge really bad now. I want it gone. Although I am pretty crafty with my quads (Banshee) I am really nervous about messing with my truck. I hear it is super easy to do and the turbo doesn't have to come out. Is this true? Also, just to be sure what I am hearing is in fact really turbo surge... I notice it under really hard accel and it almost sounds like a wheel being spun faster than it should be. Kinda "pffft pffft" sound or whatever. Don't laugh....its the best I can describe it. If I back out of the throttle and get back in it slowly it goes away. I also hear whoosing coming from the intake when I change gears but from what I have read I understand that is normal. So I am not worried about that.

Everyone has been great here so far. A little help here would be the icing on the cake! Thanks fellas!

You really dont need a write up... Remove the intake pipe, and then unbolt the wastegate... Remove the Y pipe, and then remove the 5 bolts that hold the compressor housing to the turbo... reverse and within an hours time you are back on the road, surge free.

Excellent! Thank you! I was towing the trailer last weekend and the first time I heard it scared the crap outta me! Luckily I have done enough research on here to know what it was and not freak out. The fiance' just screamed at me "See!!! You had to put go fast parts in here and now its broken! What the H*LL was that noise? Stop playing around with your truck! Your gonna break it!" Of course what I really heard was "Waaah wahh wahhhh waaah wah buy more stuff wahh wahhh waaaah."
