So the Evo 2 is just a programmer with a gauge display for the A pillar

When you want to change tunes it takes about 2 minutes to change between 1 to 3. when you go from stock to level 1-3 it takes about 5 minutes.

the pod that comes with it mounts on the dash right above the left vent not on the a pillar. Its actually pretty slick looking! i like it! also can read CELs and do performance tests. It also reads EGTs when you install the probe

EVO2 is setup to plug in and monitor 4 items, EGT,Boost ect. Do you have a EVO1? On my EX it takes a little longer to change levels due to theft lite reset (about 5 min)

I really like my EVO 2. For the money I think its a good buy. I enjoy the fact I can read a lot of features from the rig. The only downfall that I see is that I have to shut it down to re-program. About 5 minutes worth of my time then I am on my way again.
