boost
IS there any downfall to disconecting the red line? Right now with the banks houseing and big head it peaks at 21 or 22 but takes all it has to get there. Empty cruising at 60-70 it only runs maybe 5psi, but as soon as you get on it it jumps to 18 real quick but takes like years to get above that. Would it improve gas milage on the street and highway?
thanks |

There is no reason to unplug the red line if you have a banks big head. If you need a little more on the bottom end, wind in(shorten) the waste gate rod a full turn.
The reason it takes so long to get the boost built on the top end is the chip. It does not fuel as hard as others so it takes longer. |

yeah get rid of the banks and get a DP Tuner chip.....that will change that number! easpecially if you shorten the wastegate rod....
